- 1 lb ground beef.
- 1 small diced onion.
- 1 10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup.
- 1 16 oz pkg frozen tater tots.
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese.
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce.
- 1 tsp salt.
- ΒΌ tsp pepper.
Preheat your oven and Dutch oven to 350 degrees.
Remove Dutch oven from your oven and add ground beef, onion, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well. (This is a one-pot meal! The goal is to avoid using up as many dishes as possible while making this!)
Place the lid on the Dutch oven and place it back into the oven to brown the ground beef and onion, stirring occasionally for 10 minutes or until browned.
Remove from your Dutch oven and carefully drain the fat. TIP! Because my Dutch oven is cast iron and heavy and extremely hot at this point, I use a turkey baster to suck up the fat, which makes it safer and easier for me.
Stir in cream of mushroom soup, salt, and pepper.
Layer tater tots evenly on top and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
Place the Dutch oven back into the oven with the lid on and bake for 20 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for another 20 minutes, (40 minutes total).
Serve and enjoy!
