Wet Ingredients
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ½ cups pumpkin puree
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup brown sugar
Preparing Fresh Pumpkin
To use fresh pumpkin in your bread, start by washing the pumpkin, cutting it in half, and removing the seeds.
Place the halves face-down on a baking sheet and roast them in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the flesh is tender.
Once cooked, scoop out the pumpkin flesh and puree it in a food processor until smooth.
